The questions people actually ask
Do I pay anything to start?
No. The free store is a real storefront on your own address with real checkout behind it. There is no setup fee and no card required to build one.
How do I upgrade?
In your own store's dashboard, in about ten seconds. You put in a card and the plan changes immediately — there is no call, no quote and nobody at SEWN to wait for. Cancelling is the same, from Stripe, whenever you want.
What does it actually cost you to make?
Your dashboard shows the make fee for each piece before you publish. On Premium you choose the retail price and keep the margin above that make fee. On Free every piece sells at cost.
How does setting my own prices work?
On Premium your dashboard shows, for every piece, what SEWN charges to make and ship it and what your buyer pays. You choose the price. On each order you keep the margin above the make fee. Earnings build up as SEWN credit you can spend on your own orders; paying out to a bank is not switched on yet. On Free every piece sells at cost.
What happens to my store if I stop paying?
It drops back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: your address, your orders, your dashboard and your four core pieces all stay exactly as they are. The added pieces stop being sellable, and the SEWN badge comes back.
Can I cancel?
Any time, no notice period. Premium is billed monthly ($19) or annually ($168, which is $14 a month); Enterprise is billed monthly ($100). Both paid plans are free for the first 6 months.
Who actually makes the garments?
AS Colour blanks, embroidered by SEWN's production partner and shipped direct to your buyer. Nothing is produced until an order is paid for.
